Use Your Broiler for One-Pan Tandoori-Style Chicken With Couscous

Tandoori chicken is a traditional Indian dish that is normally cooked in a special oven for which it is named; A Tandoori oven. But one does not need special equipment to make delicious Indian dish at home. A household broiler can replicate the heat needed to replace the traditional Tandoori. Various spices are used, but the key ingredient is yogurt. Yogurt is acidic and keeps the meat from burning and drying out during the cooking process. Also, dark chicken, like thighs, retain its moisture more than leaner parts like the breast. Add some couscous, dates, and garnish and you have a one pan dish.
